Can I get a coach/bus to go to Negril from kingston? How much would it cost me? What about the airplane ticket, how much would it cost me?

Do I have to book ATI and RTI tickets in advance? Or can i just buy the tickets when i get to Negril

Jamaica? I never been to that festival, just want to know how it works.

My brain is dead and the only thing I can think of is a under water camera, and sunblock and bugspray (just in case) Thank you so much. Me and the wife are leaving on Monday.

I am traveling to Jamaica soon and I was thinking of staying one half of my trip in Negril and then the second half in Port Antonio. When thinking of how to get from on side to the other I planned to take a taxi. Is it a bad idea to take a taxi that far in Jamaica, and around how much would it cost. I have heard some negative things about taking a taxi that far and am now considering just staying in Negril Jamaica the whole time.
I don’t think i am going to take a taxi to PA anymore. It would cost upwards of 250 dollars for one way and it can take forever to get their (over 6 hours) that would be like losing two days of my vacation. Everyone here was positive about taking a taxi, but on other forums everyone discouraged it, especially native Jamaicans.

I am looking to stay on 7-mile beach at a independent traveler hotel (no all inclusive). As far as amenities I am not picky but need to have a room safe, some kind of security on-site, and A/C would be nice. Some of the hotels I am considering are White Sands, Rondel Village, Negril Tree House, and Negril Beach Club Condos. I welcome any personal info on these or others that are great. Cant wait to be in Jamaica.

My friend and I are staying 6 days, no all inclusive, just a regular room. This is our first time visiting. We want to experience as much as possible and buy nice souvenirs. How much money do I need to expect to spend? Also how much should I tip for information, help and guides?

Hi, I live in Western Jamaica and am looking for the best place to get married in Negril, Lucea or Montego Bay next Summer. It has to be nice, but not too expensive, and must be able to accommodate both a wedding ceremony and a reception for 100 guests. It doesn’t have to be a hotel, but it cannot be a church. Let me know!

I might be going to Negril with my older sister (17 yrs. old) and my mom this summer since we found a vacation package for a good price. My mom was a bit concerned about safety. I looked at similar questions on Yahoo! Answers but they were all older than a year. We’re looking for some current information on how safe it would be for three females to travel to Negril and stay at a hotel (NOT all-inclusive) and go about the city alone.
