My friends and I are planning a trip for Memorial Day weekend to Jamaica. We are all females in our early to mid 20s looking to party and participate in water sports. We also want to be where we can get a good feel for the Jamaican culture– easy access to safe areas outside of the resort.

Rick’s Cafe, Negril, Jamaica. Local boy diver says some land on their back and they call an ambulance. He claims that many tourists jump and some get injured but it’s not too risky if they know how to do it. This boy talks about a man who came from a boat and probably died. Perhaps he’s talking about the man mentioned on tripadvisor.com www.tripadvisor.com The person who writes about this experience is surprised Rick’s Café had no backboard to offer. Rasta Early, Negril’s beach Rasta man singing Acappella on the famous Seven Mile Beach. I disabled the comments as there were too many people who made rude and totally senseless comments about a man they have never met. He might be Jamaican with an air of the “con” but if you have never been there or known him then it is not your place to judge him.
